How does one go about joining a community?

Just curious. . . it would be nice if I could lure some other unwary artists into viewing my gallery and perhaps even posting a comment or two. . .

Usually you send a note to the community, add them to your watch-list and add their icon to your journal and/or their name in your signature.

You should definitly try Ex-po-sure (see my sig) to lure some people to your gallery as there you can submit any photography, other groups have quality requitements - those check your work to see if it meets their standard and depending on that it may be rejected.
