Ajaccio at night

Ajaccio (Aiacciu)'s skyline at night from the west - the palms you can see stand in front of the only casino in the whole of Corsica, the church is the cathedral of the town and on the right you can (barely) see the bastion of Ajaccio lit by reflected street lights.

Ajaccio is the capital of Corsica and home to the regional parlament (Assemblée nationale corse). And of course there is one thing one mustn't forget when talking about Ajaccio - it is the birth town of Napoleon Bonaparte (born in 1769).
